I talked to someone that was at the KTM test track this week and was told Kenny way faster at the test track all week on the 350 than Mikey and Andrew. I heard Kenny rides the 350 much more relaxed and was doing 20 lap motos all week. I know race night will be way different but that's what i'm told. If Ken can get a start and adrenaline of what he's doing takes over there's no telling what we all may witness Sat. night. I heard some stuff that has me thinking possible podium for Kenny if he can keep it on two wheels. That's a big IF, but lets hope.

Guys what I heard was 2 seconds a lap faster than Shorty.. And that he was able to do that consistently for 25 laps. Beyond that I know what you know. The person I hear this from is at the KTM track every day. I agree that anything in top 10 is great but like I said before. If kenny gets caught in the moment anything is possible.

Most important is he needs that 350 to get in to the first turn up front. Seeing that he is 140lbs i don't think that will be a problem..

Ik dacht 2 ...

Ik verwacht niet te veel van Ken (met alle respect). Er is een groot verschil met op een circuit rijden waar je al 1000-en ronden gereden hebt op je gemak en zonder druk dan met de beste ter wereld (in supercross) in een volle arena te vechten voor elke plek. Ik denk 7-8ste met een valpartij ergens op de avond (ik denk heat, maar kan ook goed de main zijn)

Jeroen, I agree with you that all the test track means is he has raw speed. But what you talk about with the crowd and everything could turn into Ken doing great. Back in the day guys like Lechien and Ricky Johnson raced the big boy class at 16 - 17 yrs old and won because of the excitement. I'm for sure not saying Kenny can win but I welcome any possibilities. It will be exciting.

Andy, Short is usually about 2 sec slower avg time vs RV and JS for the main event. Kenny is running that kind of pace at the test track. Like Jeroen said that doesn't mean he can do it in the race but I hope.

nooo just kidding buth it deffintly would be amazing that he is possible to hang with them in the biggest part of the race until lap 15 or something and then slowly loose touch with them ,

although i think this track is a little shorter and more technical and would deffently favor the lighter 350 and the skills of kenny seeing that package and the type of track also make's me think he's possible to turn the place on fire

Lett's hope evryone comes arround cleen and dont start to push roczen out he's still a nice guy in sx and in most places a little to carefull, buth thats the other side of the medal when you want to hang with the big boys

The track in Mxsimulator.

If Roczen can triple on the table top in the first rithm then is it almost the same rithme that he was doing on that video.
But I think the trackbuilders will it make difficult, so it will be a typical bubba-reed line.

Als Roczen kan triple op de table top in de eerste ritme na de finish dan is dat bijna hetzelfde ritmesectietje dat hij aan het doen was als in z'n filmpje.
Maar kdenk dat de circuitbouwers het iets moeilijker zullen maken. Zodat het eigenlijk een typische bubba-reed lijn wordt.

Rens.. I agree that KR is performing outstandingly.. Remember though Tomac, just like Kenny is a rookie and never raced SX before either.. I think most these kids--with the style they were raised riding--take to SX like a duck to water. Kenny is not the normal young GP rider. At least not like the one's that started racing in the 80's and 90's. He's the new breed of GP kid. He and Herlings scrubbed their way out of their mom's tummy, and whipped their baby strollers. The new breed of European MX'ers will not have a problem with SX. Being a huge GP fanatic it is nice to see the recent transformation. It's not just the French any more that will be good SX racers. Herlings is next! That kid is unreal on any surface and in 2 years will own Southwick for sure.
